About us
A1 Chimney Sweeps was started in May 1993 when my father-in-law Jack Naish gave me a set of rods and a vacuum to start sweeping chimneys for Greenwich council. Since then we have built up a business with a very good reputation through hard and genuine work.
We make sure when the brush is out of the chimney people go out and make a wish. When we test chimneys we make sure people can see what is going on and can see what is happening so we can move forward to rectify. Every step of the way we hope they feel safe and understand.
As a member of NACS (the National Association of Chimney Sweeps) we work to their code of practice. We are a member of HETAS (Heating Equipment and Testing Approval Scheme) so therefore when we sweep chimneys we can altogether make sure they are safe to be used.
